The X-Men are trapped on a moon of the Skrull homeworld shortly before Galactus arrives to devour it. They are still split up, but they are trying to regroup and get medical attention for Marrow. They manage to send out a warning to the Skrull population about Galactus, but the warning is ignored, and they are hunted instead. They are surrounded by the enemy, but the Professor decides to try deal through Galactus himself.
