Description

The team sent to rescue the Starcore research satellite succeeds, but hits a snag when a Shi’Ar vessel appears to use the wormhole normally dormant in the Earth’s solar system. The use of this wormhole is destabilizing the sun and threatening the entire solar system. The Avengers capture the Shi’Ar, who are being led by a disguised Skrull, but only through the threat of death. Cap is not pleased with this turn of events, or with Hank Pym’s size reduction of the captives for containment purposes. Still, they split the Avengers into three teams, mandated to visit the Shi’Ar, visit the Kree, and protect the Earth.
